SMT invites you to join us this fall for a series of acting workshops focusing on exploring a variety of ways to develop character.
Using a myriad of strategies and techniques, we will explore how language, voice and movement are each key to creating a character that is grounded and honest. Stage movements, voice work and text analysis will each be explored. This workshop is appropriate for a range of participants; new and experienced actors alike are welcome! If you are presently working on a script or monologue – bring it in! If not, no worries.
When: Fridays September 8, 22 and 29 from 7:30-9:30pm
Cost: $60 for all three workshop sessions
Location: SMT Rehearsal Unit, 51 Estate Drive, Toronto (just south of Markham & Hwy 401)
Contact: To book a spot please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
