THREADS is an annual workshop series that invites participants to move into a fairy tale and find their own threads of personal meaning and story.

The theme of this year’s THREADS workshop is the VOICE – our singing voices and speaking voices. With H.C. Andersen’s story, “The Emperor and the Nightingale” as our inspiration, Michelle Tocher will guide us into an exploration of our voices. When were our voices silenced and how are we recovering our capacity to sing and speak authentically? The four sessions will culminate in sharing our stories in writing, story, and song. This workshop is for everyone who wants to better know the story of their voice and use it more expressively in story, sound, and song.

“A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.”
