With over ten years of experience touring her Solo Work, Fringe Veteran and two-time Edinburgh Fringe Performer Christel Bartelse will share her insights into the different ways it’s possible to tour your show, and get it to Edinburgh. Take your show beyond the Toronto Fringe! Set up a mini-tour! Come prepared to soak up all the info. and ask any questions you may have, about Edinburgh and touring in general.

The conversation will be facilitated by Person of Interest star Melody A. Johnson!

About Christel:

Christel Bartelse is an award-winning Actor, Comedian and Performer living in Toronto. She is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory Program, Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, and has studied Clown extensively with John Turner & Michael Kennard (Mump and Smoot) as well as Sue Morrison, Philippe Gaulier and Francine Cote. She is a member of Faustwork Mask Theatre and performs the hit show The Mask Messenger to schools and festivals all over the GTA.

Christel has created 5 full-length solo shows (Chaotica, ONEymoon, Signifcant Me, All KIDding Aside, The Suprise) earning 3 Canadian Comedy award nominations for "Best One Person". A Fringe Veteran, Christel has participated in numerous festivals including the Toronto, Ottawa, London, Montreal, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Vancouver, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, and Orlando Fringes, as well as The Next Stage Theatre Festival; she has performed her shows in numerous theatres around Ontario.

Christel is a 2-time Edinburgh Fringe Participant, earning rave reviews, and has toured Canada and the US with her work. She has taught at the Toronto Film School, Max the Mutt Animation School, The Second City, Etobicoke School for the Arts, and currently teaches and directs at Humber College.
