Advocacy Update: TAPA Gives Deputation at City of Toronto’s Budget Consultation

Today, Toronto City Council held the budget consultation. TAPA Executive Director, Jacoba Knaapen, gave a deputation advocating for the arts and culture sector in Toronto. In the deputation, TAPA asked for:

1. The City to commit to a new culture plan
2. The City to support our advocacy for a Basic Income Guarantee
3. The City to support upgrading infrastructure and safety supplies as companies reopen
