PERFORMANCE DATES: July 2-23, 2025. Exact times are subject to the Toronto Fringe scheduling, but may occur at all hours of the day. Auditioners must be able to attend all performances.
REHEARSAL DATES: Beginning in May, rehearsals will take place majority on weekends, some weekdays (subject to cast availability). Auditioners should be available most weekends, and must be available the final rehearsals (June 14-15, and 21-22)
The world of All That She Wrote includes a very wide range of identities, experiences, and voice types. The option to self-select which characters you are auditioning for is designed to allow actors to indicate to the casting team which roles they would be comfortable embodying. You need not exactly identify with the role, pronouns, age, or description of a character, but if you indicate that you’re submitting for that role, that indicates that you are comfortable portraying that character’s identity. Please consult the info sheet for full character breakdowns and descriptions.
On the audition form, you will be asked for:
- Which roles you’d like to be considered for (see above note).
- Resume & Headshot, as one PDF.
- A link to a video:
- A contemporary musical theatre song which shows you acting through song. This is an opportunity to demonstrate musicianship, personality, and your uniqueness. Song should be under 2 minutes (it can be something you already have on tape).
- A brief introduction stating your name, pronouns, and if you want: tell us a story of a time when you did something wrong or morally bad.
- To describe (in detail) your availability in May/June (during rehearsals).
