#1 Toronto Fringe Clown Comedy theatre company is looking for a marketing assistant volunteer to help promote our upcoming Toronto Fringe show, #1 Clown Comedy with Victor & Priscilla.
We are looking for a volunteer to help us update online listings and create social media content. The hours will be flexible and will be one to two weekday evening or weekend shifts of 3 hours in length in the first week of June. This could be done at home, using phone contact with the producing team, or it could be an in-person meeting with the producing team at the rehearsal space in Leslieville Toronto (near Broadview and Queen).
The marketing assistant will work with the producer team and gain experience with marketing in independent theatre. The marketing assistant will also receive a Toronto Fringe production credit as listed on the Fringe Fest online listings and in the program. They will receive two complimentary tickets to the performance of the show on the date of their choice (these must be booked in advance with the producing team).
Applicants should have a computer or laptop and internet access. Basic computer skills will be necessary but no specialized knowledge is needed. About the company: #1 Toronto Fringe Clown Comedy is a first time Fringe producer. The company rehearses in Leslieville and the production will take place in Leslieville at the VideoCabaret Deanne Taylor Theatre,10 Busy St. Toronto ON M4M1N8 near Logan & Queen behind the Value Village parking lot. The team of volunteers in the company are mixed ages and levels of experience. The experience will offer opportunity for mentorship and community connection to theatre peers.
