About the Production
The Tweetations Presents: Mona’s Magic Hour is an original musical revue-style production set in the whimsical and soulful world of The Great Tree. The show blends live singing, choreography, skits and theatrical storytelling to celebrate Black musical legacies and our connection to nature.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and collaborative Stage Manager to support our cast, crew, and creative team throughout the rehearsal and performance process. The Stage Manager plays a key role in maintaining the flow of the production, coordinating communication, and ensuring rehearsals and performances run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and manage all rehearsals, tech days, and performances
- Create and maintain rehearsal schedules in collaboration with the director and production team
- Document blocking, cues, and script changes
- Call cues during technical rehearsals and performances
- Facilitate communication between cast, crew, and creative team
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and focused rehearsal environment
- Track props, costumes, and set changes during run-throughs and shows
- Help coordinate logistics such as venue access, load-in, and load-out
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience stage managing live performances (theatre, concerts, musicals)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A calm, solution-oriented attitude under pressure
- Familiarity with working in multidisciplinary and collaborative environments
- A commitment to safe and inclusive creative spaces
- Comfort working with choreographed or music-driven work is a plus
