Alexander Franks is a Chinese-Canadian performer, creator and producer. He started acting as a child in movies and TV shows such as Majority Rules and Breakfast with Scot. Expanding into theatre in high school he then attended the drama program with a concentration in performance at Brock University and then the MA in Advanced Theatre Practice Program at the Royal Central School Of Speech and Drama. He has worked as a performer with recent credits: ANIVIA for the Caminos Festival 2023, Ladies Day by New Stuff Theatre, Sister Warriors by Suitcase In Point and Affair Of Honor (workshop staged reading), the award winning short film Healer by Moonlight Productions and Escape From Shanghai as part of Fu Gen Theatre’s Kitchen Potluck festival. Creator credits include playwright for Steveston Alive! Walking Tour Vignettes and audio projects with programsound.fm, Ergo Arts Theatre and Spring works Festival. (Stratford Ontario).
