Christoph is an Egyptian Canadian, singer, actor, stage manager, music director, and educator. As a child, Christoph loved watching every movie musical he could get his hands on and fell in love with the art form. Since then, his knowledge has only grown and his passion intensified. Having studied Devised Theatre at York University, Christoph approaches his work with a spirit of collaboration. Combined with his passion for storytelling, particularly with music, he has spent the last decade creating Theatre, both on stage and off, with companies across the city and beyond. Some of Christoph’s notable credits include originating the role of Jacob in Nobody’s Children (written by Lezlie Wade & Scott Christian, Directed by Kerry Ann Doherty), winning a BroadwayWorld Regional Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play (non-professional) for The Questing Beast, and stage managing the original production of Drama 101 (written by Steven Gallagher & Kevin Wong) as well as the the Patrons Pick winning, Toronto Fringe Festival production of The Crack of Doom (written by Matt Bernard & Susie Wilde). This year, Christoph is excited to be assistant directing with the Théâtre Français de Toronto and returning to Bravo Academy as a stage manager and instructor as well as whatever new projects may be on the horizon! When he is not in the theatre, he can be found singing with the Juno Award winning Toronto Mass Choir.
