Claire St-François is an arts manager, fundraiser, creator and arts advocate who is passionate about accessible arts-based learning programs and performances for young people. As Prologue to the Performing Arts’ Project and Development Manager, Claire oversees subsidized theatre, dance, music, spoken word and storytelling performing arts experiences for more than 6,000 primary and secondary school students across Toronto every year through the Possibility Program. Claire is also now working with her team to develop the Leadership through the Arts Program (LAP), which is a new initiative designed to support youth leadership development in the arts among young people across the GTA. Based in Toronto, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre (Hons) from Dalhousie University and an Arts Administration and Cultural Management Graduate Certificate from Humber College. Claire has been very fortunate to apply her lifelong love of the performing arts to her work and is constantly inspired by just how much this means to the many young people who experience Prologue’s performances and workshops.
