John has worked in the television production business for over two decades. As an A.D, at the CBC John worked with some of Canada’s top actors and musicians during live productions like the Junos, Canada Day and the Federal Government’s STOP! Racism Concert in Ottawa. John went on to join CBC’s Audio Post Production department where he worked on two IMAX productions, countless television series and later was key in producing over 200 commercial DVD releases for the corporation. In 1987, John had the privilege of studying with Canadian composer, R. Murray Schafer and taking part in his theatrical production of The Greatest Show on Earth, Patria III. A musician and songwriter, John’s songs have appeared on television, radio and film. He is an ACTRA and SOCAN member. As Production Manager of B Street, John hopes to continue on his creative path in support of and collaboration with Toronto’s Theatre and Music community.
