Staging Better Futures/Mettre en scène de meilleurs avenirs (SBF/MSMA) is a SSHRC-funded, intersectoral Partnership project focused on improving teaching and learning conditions for minoritized students and educators in postsecondary theatre education in Canada. SBF/MSMA takes an intersectional feminist approach to leadership, governance, and management, explicitly making anti racist, decolonizing, and equity and access-oriented interventions into oppressive structures and practices.
The Project Manager is responsible for oversight of the operations of the project as a whole. This is a 12-month contract position and includes benefits.
Salary Range: $62,580 – $107,280
The Project Manager ensures the successful development and implementation of annual work plans for research and administrative activities. This role supports the project’s Co-directors in complex and creative strategic planning, based on a high degree of collaboration, consultation, and written and interpersonal communication in French and English.
Responsibilities include budget and financial planning, including the preparation and management of project budgets, compliance with funding regulations, and collaboration with financial administrators. This is a bilingual posting.
