???? A Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Ethan! My deep love for Chekhov started during my theatre studies at UofT St. George, and I’ve been bringing his world to life ever since. I’ve previously directed an adaptation of Chekhov’s short story The Chorus Girl, and later produced an entire Chekhov Fest through my company, Theatre Ya Knowww, where I directed two separate productions of The Three Sisters. My artistic approach is heavily inspired by incredible local and cinematic art, from seeing Crow’s Theatre’s unforgettable production of The Cherry Orchard to the stunning 2018 film adaptation of The Seagull. I can’t wait to explore Uncle Vanya with you!
