More on the DNA Platform
In late 2023, Mass Culture brought you the Arts Data Platform as part of the inaugural year of the Data Narratives for the Arts (DNA) initiative. A powerful tool, they have spent the past year applying and testing it with arts organizations and will be launching the 2.0 version, the DNA Platform, next month (November 2024).
This second iteration will incorporate data from the Canada Revenue Agency, Statistics Canada and Canadian Arts Data (CADAC) while offering an improved user experience.
By harnessing the power of this data, the DNA Platform will help inform strategic decision-making, build collaborative capacity, and enhance the overall efficiency of arts-related programming and funding. Above all, the DNA Platform offers artists and arts organizations barrier-free access to their sector’s data.
