On October 28, 2024 at the Art Gallery of Ontario, we celebrated the incredible impact of philanthropy, leadership and corporate investment in arts at the 2024 Business / Arts Awards Celebration.
Returning for its 46th year in 2025, the Business / Arts Awards recognize innovative partnerships between business and the arts, and spotlight exceptional volunteers, leaders and organizations who have made a significant contribution to the arts in Canada. Be part of the celebration by nominating yourself or another champion of the arts for one of the awards below.
Nominations are open until Friday, December 20th, 2024.
Peter Herrndorf Arts Leadership Award:
Recognize an arts leader who has spent a lifetime dedicated to fostering the arts in Canada. This award celebrates an exceptional leader who has demonstrated a lifetime of building partnerships, ensuring a vibrant cultural sector for all Canadians.
The recipient will receive $5,000 to be directed to the arts organization(s) of their choice.

Arnold Edinborough Award:
Applaud a young leader who is driving change within their community. This award is now open to young professionals from any sector who have made an outstanding contribution to the Canadian arts and culture sector.
The recipient will receive $5,000 to be directed to the arts organization(s) of their choice.

Corporate Champion of the Arts Award:
Celebrate the contributions of a corporate sponsor, partner or champion that has strengthened arts and culture in Canada through its commitment to the sector. This award celebrates a business that has made a significant contribution to the arts through long-term and strategic support.

Community Impact Award:
Spotlight a local partnership that has had a meaningful community impact. This award recognizes an innovative partnership between an arts organization and a business that has enhanced the quality of life and enriched a local cultural scene through innovative program(s), creative business partnerships or neighbourhood revitalization initiatives.
The recipient will receive $5,000 to be directed to the arts organization.

Edmund C. Bovey Award*:
This award recognizes business professionals and/or philanthropists who have demonstrated a lifetime of significant philanthropy and/or volunteer leadership in arts and culture in Canada. The recipient receives $25,000 to be directed to the arts organization(s) of their choice.
*Due to the high volume of nominations received for the 2023 & 2024 Edmund C. Bovey Award, Business / Arts will not be accepting new nominations for the 2025 Edmund C. Bovey Award.
