Working at The Grove Theatre
All of our team members should be comfortable with the knowledge that June to September will have a heavier workload. During productions our days will be split between a variety of locations and spread between daytime, evening, weekday and weekends. It can be frenetic but together we will set ourselves up for a marathon and not a sprint. We aim to make space for people to be more than just their jobs. We want to share things we care about and we notice in our communities. We can’t be task oriented all the time and we think it’s important to include the time to reflect and connect.
The Grove is a new organization and as such, policies and procedures are still being developed. We celebrate diversity in arts and people (including employees!), and are working to prioritize inclusive and accessible processes and experiences. We want to carefully consider all decisions that will build the root system of The Grove and we are approaching this with the understanding that these decisions take time and care.
