Michelle Bouey hails from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and is a proud graduate from the Music Theatre Program at Sheridan College. She has been working in the industry for seven years and has met with good success in theatre,TV, and in the music scene. Some of her favourite Theatre/TV credits include: Marnie/Cellist in Rose (Soulpepper); Featured Singer in UnCovered (Musical Stage Co); Frenchy in Grease (Winter Garden Theatre); Dorothy in Wizard of Oz (Grand Theatre); Mimi Marquez in RENT (CAA Theatre); Jasmine in Aladdin! The Panto (Drayton Entertainment); The Moblees (CBC); Odd Squad (PBS/TVO); The Handmaid’s Tale (MGM/Hulu); Japanizi (YTV/DisneyXD); and Top Ten on Over The Rainbow (CBC). She’s currently working on her own music and has two singles out on iTunes, Spotify and other media platforms. She was also a 2018 Juno Award Nominee with her show The Moblees and is the recipient of the 2018/2019 Syd & Shirley Banks Prize with the Musical Stage Company. The Theatre community in Toronto means so much to her, and she looks forward to getting to know this wonderful world of artists even more.
