Samantha Hayes (she/her) Since graduating from Centennial College’s Children’s Media program, Samantha has worked with Shaftesbury, first as a Production Coordinator on Emerald Code S2, followed by Coordinator for Shaftesbury’s Kids & Family team, and most recently as a Story Coordinator and Jr. Story Editor on Ruby and the Well S4. Samantha has written for Gisele’s Mashup Adventures (Headspinner Productions), and Chirp! magazine. Currently, she is writing a YA novel as part of Humber College’s postgraduate Creative Writing program. Samantha started her career in storytelling as an actor, with cherished performances including Pride & Prejudice at The Citadel Theatre, Humber River Shakespeare’s The Sonnet Show, and Sean Dixon’s adaptation of The White Bone, and as a certified veterinary technician, she loves any opportunity to write about animals or work with animals on set.
