Theatre), Vocalissimus  (Boston Musica Viva), the world premiere of Afghanistan: Requiem for a Generation (Calgary Philharmonic and the Vancouver Symphony),  The Enchanted Forest (Patria), Ainadamar (L.A. Philharmonic), Airline Icarus (Soundstreams), Nothing Compares to You: Music of Kate Bush, Radiohead and Prince a recital with Order of Canada accordionist Joe Macerollo.

 

A Dora Mavor Moore award-winning actor, recent appearances include: Bend it Like Beckham (Starvox), Towards Youth (Crow’s Theatre), Helen’s Necklace (Canadian Rep Theatre),  The Enchanted Loom (Cahoots Theatre), Tout Comme Elle (Necessary Angel Theatre), Sultans of the Street (Young People’s Theatre), CHILD-ISH (Summerworks Lab), Eleven Moons (Boston Musica Viva.) Upcoming: All the Little Animals I have Eaten (Nightwood), The Comedy of Errors (Canadian Stage), Paradise Lost (Canadian Stage) and has done new play workshops at the Stratford Festival and with Soulpepper.

 

Zorana appeared in the operatic films Burnt Toast and The Mulroneys (Rhombus Media) and has appeared on Little Mosque on the Prairie, Designated Survivor, and Kim’s Convenience. Zorana was a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Centre, has participated in residencies at the Banff Centre and the Aspen Music Festival and was a finalist in the Eckhardt-Gramatté contemporary music competition.

 

Ouzounian lives in Toronto, has been married for 43 years to his wife, Pamela, and has two children, Kat and Michael.
