Position Overview
Performers will help bring the magic of Christmas to life for guests of all ages. From interacting with families and children to bringing beloved holiday characters to life, successful candidates will help create a memorable and magical experience at one of Toronto’s most iconic landmarks.
Wage
$20/Hour
Responsibilities
- Portray Christmas-themed characters and mascots in a fun, engaging, and family-friendly manner.
- Interact with guests, particularly children and families, through greetings, photographs, and playful interactions.
- Maintain character integrity and remain in character while interacting with guests.
- Follow direction from the production team and adhere to assigned schedules and performance locations.
- Participate in briefings and follow all established safety protocols.
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and magical atmosphere throughout the event.
Qualifications
- Previous performance, acting, mascot, or character entertainment experience
- Comfortable interacting with children, families, and large groups of guests.
- Energetic, friendly, reliable, and professional.
- Comfortable performing in costume, including mascot suits where applicable.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume live event environment.
- Available to work scheduled shifts throughout the Christmas season, including evenings and weekends.
Additional Information
- Seasonal contract position.
- Various character and mascot roles are available.
- Training and character-specific direction will be provided.
- Must be comfortable working in costumes that may be warm or physically demanding, depending on the assigned role.
