The Toronto Star published “The show will go on, beleaguered performing arts companies hope – but mostly outdoors,” authored by Karen Fricker, earlier today.

The article quotes results from TAPA COVID-19 Impact Survey #4, in which we learned that professional theatre, dance, and opera organizations have lost over $900 million of revenue since the beginning of the pandemic last March. The article also quotes Executive Director, Jacoba Knaapen, on the advocacy work TAPA has been doing to combat “regulatory unfairness.”
