Now casting for our organization’s fundraising production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

SEEKING:
Actors of all races, ethnicities and genders are highly encouraged to audition.
Prince Eric (B2 to G4) – A human monarch who has no interest of taking the crown. A handsome, affable lad with a buoyant, adventurous nature. After Ariel saves his life, he becomes obsessed with finding her and hearing her voice once more.
King Triton (Ab2 to F4) – King of the Sea and Ariel’s father. Beneath his imposing presence and commanding nature lurks a harried single father who will do anything to protect his daughters. The death of his wife has also given him an irrational fear of humans.
Sebastian (Bb2 to C5) – A crab and advisor to King Triton. A musical virtuoso who is constantly distraught from keeping after Ariel. Despite his paranoia, he can’t bring himself to stand in Ariel’s way.
Ensemble – Crew Members (Pilot, Sailors); Sea Creatures; Mersisters; Gulls; Maids;
Chefs; Animals; Princesses

AUDITIONS (2 Days of Availability):
Wednesday October 16th from 12:00pm – 6:00pm at The Wychwood Theatre in 15 minute timeslots.
Thursday October 17th from 11:00am – 4:00pm at The Wychwood Theatre in 15 minute timeslots.
DANCE CALL will be held Friday October 18th between 2pm and 6pm. If you have a dance reel you would like to send in advance or are unable to attend the dance call please forward any materials for consideration to admin@tyttheatre.com
SHOW DATES (42 Performances):
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR TECH WEEK & SHOW RUN*
Tech Time: Jan 27th – Feb 9th
Opening: Feb 15th 2025
Performances:
Saturdays and Sundays 11am & 3:30pm from February 15th to April 13th
Fridays 7:00pm from March 21st to April 11th
Friday March 14th (March Break) – 11am & 3:30pm
Run: First Run until April 13th
Hopeful Extension Run: (With new rate / contract / cast joining) April 26th – June 1st
Rehearsals scheduled 2-3 times per week. Readthrough taking place the week of Oct 28th with rehearsals beginning the week of Nov 4th. Longer days expected during tech week the week prior to opening.
**Possible added performances for School Groups during the week based on availability
Audition & Performance Venue: The Wychwood Theatre (76 Wychwood Ave.)
Payment: $750 Honorarium (Hopeful Increases based on Sales)
Show Run Time: Approximately 120 Minutes Plus Intermission
