Scott (he/him) is a Toronto-based theatre artist and administrator whose career thus far encompasses on & off stage roles. For TAPA, Scott manages the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, Canada’s oldest and largest professional awards for theatre, dance and opera. All day-to-day operations of the Doras come under his purview, including management of approximately 200 member show registrations annually, voting, ceremony ticketing and overseeing the 80 volunteer jurors and jury chairs across 7 Divisions adjudicating 46 award categories. In addition, as the Outreach Manager for TAPA he runs the popular hipTIX and citySPECIAL ticket programs, removing barriers to participation in performing arts by providing heavily discounted student tickets (hipTIX) and complimentary tickets to Toronto area social services agencies, newcomer/refugee groups, and at-risk youth organizations (citySPECIAL). On behalf of TAPA, Scott sits on the Roundtable committee for SCALE (Sectoral Climate Arts Leadership for the Emergency) as well as the PACT Environmental Sustainability Committee. Scott is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Canadian Arts Coalition. Outside of TAPA, Scott has worked as a producer, director, production manager and performer, and is a founding member of Soup Can Theatre. #BLM #ClimateCrisis
