Scott (he/him) is a Toronto-based theatre administrator and occasional artist whose career thus far encompasses on & off stage roles. For TAPA, Scott manages the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, Canada’s oldest and largest professional awards for theatre, dance and opera. All day-to-day operations of the Doras are under his purview, including management of approximately 150 member show registrations annually, jury voting, ceremony ticketing and coordinating the 70+ volunteer jurors and jury chairs across 7 Divisions adjudicating 43 award categories. In addition, he manages the popular TAPA Trade Series and hipTIX programs, programming professional development sessions and student discount theatre tickets, respectively. Scott joined the TAPA team in 2011 as a ticket seller at the dearly departed T.O.TIX booth and has been the Dora Awards Manager since the 2014-2015 season. Outside of TAPA, Scott has worked as a producer, director, production manager and performer, and is a founding member of Soup Can Theatre.
