The Travel, Retreat and Initiatives Program (TRIP) supports TAPA members through two components:
• The Flight Component
Funding support of up to $1,000 is available to help cover national or international air travel for touring, collaboration, conferences, festivals, and other professional development opportunities. Eligible travel must occur after the application deadline and before August 2026. TRIP also supports the travel of international collaborators coming to work with Toronto companies.
A second round of Flight Component applications—for travel taking place between July and December 2026—will open in June.
• The Retreat Component
A week-long residency at Valleyview Artist Retreat, September 28 – October 4, 2026 offering uninterrupted time for creative work, planning, or visioning. Artists and arts administrators are eligible to apply for the full week. Please note that the retreat is for the recipient only and cannot include guests, friends, or family.
