ABOUT CORPUS:

Co-founded by Sylvie Bouchard and artistic director David Danzon, CORPUS is known for its precise and surrealist humour that combines movement with theatrical imagery.

CORPUS’ unique and engaging performances are presented in both traditional and unusual locations for large and diverse audiences. Created in 1997, CORPUS now has 15 pieces in its repertoire and has presented over 2500 performances across Canada in 34 countries.

Several productions have been nominated for Dora Mavor Moore awards. In 2001 CORPUS won the gold-medal at the IV Games of la francophonie (Street Theatre category).

In 2024, CORPUS proudly celebrates its 28th anniversary.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST – DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS:

 CORPUS is looking for a social media specialist who creates and executes a short-term digital marketing strategy to inform, advertise, and generate public interest before, during, and after our performances. They create and post content for our audiences to know where and when CORPUS performs (nationally and internationally).

Several CORPUS projects will take place in Toronto in 2024. Among them the highly anticipated premiere of our show “Mukashi, Mukashi” at the Theatre Centre in September.

Main tasks:

  • Create engaging content to increase audience attendance for all our Toronto performances.
  • Attend live performances to capture content.
  • Engage with users by responding to messages, inquiries, and comments.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Proficiency in both English and French.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred.

1-3 years of experience in social media marketing or content development, specifically in growing audiences for live events on social media.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro), Canva or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus.
