GENERAL AUDITION CALL (NON-UNION)
DuffleBag Theatre’s Artistic Director Marcus Lundgren is holding general auditions seeking
actors ready to tour for Young Audiences.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Since 1992, the “Nearly World-Famous” DuffleBag Theatre has been touring internationally
performing their hilarious adaptations of fairy tales and classic stories starring members of
the audience. Now in their 34th season, the company is holding general English and Bilingual
(French/English) auditions for their upcoming school, theatre, and festival touring season.

ETHNOCULTURAL STATEMENT:
DuffleBag Theatre performances include audience members from diverse and multi-cultural
communities, as such we seek to respect this with diverse and inclusive casting. We strongly
encourage submissions from artists who identify as members of equity-seeking groups or
underrepresented communities.
AUDITON REQUIRMENTS (Self-tape):
Interested actors are asked to create a high energy 3-minute (maximum) self-tape
improvised adaptation of THE THREE LITTLE PIGS with you telling the story as you perform
all the parts. Have fun with it!
*NOTE: Bilingual (French) actors are asked to please use both languages in their submission.
