Born and raised in Tkaronto, Carly is a disabled theatremaker with over 15 years experience in a variety of disciplines. Currently she serves as Communications Manager for The Toronto Fringe. Prior to this role Carly was an independent director, producer, and educator. She also trained in artistic direction under the mentorship of Franco Boni, and is currently studying ASL.
Some favourite directing credits include: Asking for it (Thousand Islands Playhouse); Plucked (SummerWorks); Much Ado About Nothing (Hart House Theatre); Happy Days (National Theatre School), Vinegar Tom (Playwright Project).
Carly is a graduate of University of Windsor’s BFA Acting Program, and The National Theatre School of Canada’s Directing Program.
