Janelle Hanna is a Toronto-based actor, educator, playwright, and producer who has worked professionally in theatre, film, tv, and voiceover for the past sixteen years. Selected credits include: Stag & Doe (Capitol Theatre Port Hope), Miss Caledonia (Thousand Islands Playhouse), Tales from the Lighted Path: The Black River (Tweed & Co.), Bad Baby Presents: Rules Control the Fun (Writer, Producer & Performer Tor/Wpg/Edm Fringe Tour), Mrs. America (starring Cate Blanchett & Rose Byrne, FX Network), Colin & Coffee & Lennox & Kleenex (Producer & Co-writer w/Briana Brown, Digital NOW), Prairie Nurse (Best Supporting Performance in a Play – My Entertainment World Critics Choice Award, Factory Theatre/Thousand Islands Playhouse), Robert. (Now Magazine 15 Artists to Watch, Toronto Fringe), Out With Dad (JLeaver Productions), Anne of Green Gables (Stirling Festival Theatre). Janelle holds an MFA in Acting from York University and is part of the contract acting faculty teaching Acting for Non-Majors.
